Standing solitary on the cliff top
Wind and rain slashing at my face
Like icy blades drawn across my skin
Lightning slices the sky in two
Jagged rips upon the beautiful night
Thunder roars like a thousand lions
The sea crashes endlessly the sandy bay
Unforgiving, as she attempts to pull you in
The wind screams around me
Pummelling me continuously towards the edge
A fierce torrent of rain lashes my face
With the strength of a wire whip
Turning my ice white complexion a raw red
Drenched clothes cling to my body
Like s second layer of skin
The intensity of its beauty leaves me breathless
More waves come running in
And crash at the bottom of the cliff
The force of collision throws up spray
My eyes flash with the reflection of the lightning
The whistling winds quiet down to a strong breeze
And the rain subsides to light drizzle
The night sky is dark with the scurrying clouds
